After much research and great support from Gareth at HazzyDayz I visitied there workshop on Saturday 10th March and had the above fitted to my brand new Octavia vRS (OK - not brand brand new - it is 4 weeks old at time of writing).  I have to say that these guys were absolutely brilliant.  John installed my kit for me on the day and he did a highly professional and fantastic job.  These guys really know what they are doing and take very good care of your car.  The installation was/is immaculate and their attention to detail was second to none.  I was given a full demonstration of all the kit and its functionality/features and everyone made sure I was completely happy before asking for any payment.  All that and a lovely cup of tea as well !!

Seriously folks - anyone considering having anything retrofitted should contact these guys.  I shopped around and have to say that I could have got the work done cheaper elsewhere but then only with “small” warranties.  HazzyDayz order the kit for your car using the Reg and VIN number and my kit was all brand new and specially ordered in for my specific car.  They also provide a full three years warranty (as the manufacturer would) on everything.

Dear all, it’s not often I write any feedback – unless it’s really negative! But, once in a blue moon I come across a company or service that needs to be highlighted as being at the top of their game. HazzyDayz is one of those companies. Apologies upfront for the long winded feedback, but there is method in the madness I promise you…

Like everyone in the credit crunch, we all want a bargain. I phoned around many places to see if I could get some ‘cheap’ prices for OEM parts that I wanted to upgrade my car with. The intention was to make my well driven, but immaculate MK5 Golf GTI feel like something new and give it a few upgrades it should have had at birth I found many cheaper prices on ebay and around the country, but also some ridiculously silly prices from so called ’specialists.’ Why do companies still think they can rip us off in this climate?

Anyways, after some searching on the net I came across the www.vwcruise.com Ltd website. This had all the technical information I needed, reasonable and realistic prices that were clearly stated and pictures of all items that you wish you had when you first got your VW or Audi pride and joy. I gave them a call in the next day and talked to Gareth Hawkridge the Director. It was immediately obvious Gareth knew his stuff inside out. His technical knowledge was spot and he instilled me with the confidence that other ‘companies’ could not muster. HazzyDayz Ltd also offered 2 year warranties on all the items I wanted installed. Does dodgy bloke on ebay or company up north offer that in writing? I doubt it. I did not want to take the risk.

Originally I just had the RNS510 Sat Nav system (replacement for the inferior VW approved Kenwood Sat Nav my local dealership said was great… It was rubbish) installed by John one of the expert technicians. He actually came in on Saturday morning specially to do my job as I made the decision after talking to Gareth on the Saturday morning at their facility in Markyate. That’s 5 star customer service. Not only did I get to chat to John during the refit, I was topped up with Sky TV and cups of tea while I waited for a few hours. The Nav system went in like a hand in a glove once John had worked out the glitches and done all the technical programming etc. Sean, one of the other technicians showed me some of the other items I wanted in the future, while John wrapped up my job.

Needless to say after a few days I was so impressed with the Sat Nav installation future came to me quicker than I expected. I emailed Gareth for prices and information on the Highline Display upgrade and Multifunction Steering Wheel that integrate seamlessly with the RNS510 Sat Nav and additional Cruise Control.

The following morning I got a prompt reply with everything I had asked, plus options, plus a good discount as I had already spent a decent amount on my previous week’s RNS510 Sat Nav installation. Not only that, Gareth arranged for Martin one of his other specialist technicians to come in on Saturday morning to get all the work done if I wanted. Martin did another great job, integrated everything, worked out all the glitches kept me and Gareth informed about the progress, completed the job in about 3 hours (lots of updates, key coding, etc) and went through all the new features stage by stage before I’d left. Entertainment was provided by Gareth’s 4 year old son in the form of a light sabre show from Star Wars. He definitely has the force – as do all the Jedi’s at HazzyDayz Ltd!

From the beginning to the end of this process it was a pleasure to use HazzyDays Ltd as my preferred supplier for VW and Audi professional retrofits. Gareth and his team are exceptional at what they do and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future (I’ve already told my local VW Dealership and lots of my mates). Everything looks and feels 100% ‘factory fit’. No rattles, no squeaks and no gremlins. They really are that good!

I’m enjoying the car I should have had 5 years ago and she’s enjoying the new gadgets and gizmos cruelly not ordered by her first owner (I was the second).

Just had cruise fitted to my ‘58′ plate Audi TTS by Andy.  Great job! I was considering doing it myself seeing as I’m used to that sort of work - glad I didn’t.  I’m sure it would have taken a whole day, caused a few grazed knuckles, and not saved any money.  100% recommended!

Having taken delivery of my baby, one thing was missing - the autodimming mirror.  Audi told me that they did not retrofit these - typical - so a quick search found HazzyDayz.  I spoke to Garath and Sean and ordered the part.  Within a few days it was in and I went over to have it fitted today.  A more helpful bunch of guys you could never meet.  The job was done quickly and the installation explained to me.  I now have the perfect car.  Thanks a lot.

Hi,I’ve just had Martin at Hazzy Dayz fit the Kufatec cabrio mod to my TT with the parking sensors and SDS upgrade. Fantastic service from start to finish! I don’t often find someone as completely fussy and OCD as me, but hats off to Gareth and Martin, they really go the extra mile. Martin even cleared and ran the VCDS when he’d finished to see if there were any faults anywhere on the car. All works perfectly and was meticulously installed. I’m now working on learning the voice commands for the sat nav in German, probably will leave the Urdu for another day though, I think my accent’s a bit off!Seriously though, top job- very happy to recommend to one and all.Simon

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Martin for sorting out cruise control install and coding to correctly fold door mirrors which the Audi dealer said was not available!!! arrived on time and had the mods done in under an hour.

With some trepidation, I handed my pride and joy over to this friendly young team of retrofitters. Chatting to them and watching them go about their business, you soon realise what a knowledgeable, polished and professional crew they are. Long before the work was completed I had absolute confidence in the outcome and I was not disappointed. Everything works great, and yes, the SDS does work with the top down (if you raise your voice a bit!) Thanks Gareth, Andy and Co for a great job and for your subsequent help with the self inflicted glove box warning light problem. I will be back and so, hopefully will others on my recommendation.

Just to say thanks to all the chaps at Hazzydays for the first rate job fitting the RDS 510, MFSW, Bluetooth phone system and voice command to my Passat B6 The car feel totally different and refreshed..Look forward to coming back to have the auto lights fitted within the next few weeks.

Booked the car on Tuesday, went in Saturday for 9.30, and within an hour the whole car was sorted, RNS510 works with no battery drain, MFW works and MF Computer is coded correctly. These guys do what VW are scared to do and do not have the knowledge to do. The team are brilliant, its hard to walk away with just one item fitted you want more modifications to be done. Trust me they do the job and do know what they are talking about. I recommend them to anyone, I know I will be back to get more mods done, just wont tell the wife. If you buy an RNS510 speak to these guys first.. Do not go to VW as i did and loose money you will feel it.

I had this modification done to my Gti midline-highline, very happy with the results.

It was done at my office and even with the installer having car trouble getting to me it was very professionally handled and executed perfectly.

Even though I am not in the UK the appointment was scheduled and the call out was the normal UK based max. 

A very professional and communicative company who I would genuinely recommend.
